Padel+ Sedgeford Hall Estate proposes a heritage-style indoor padel facility at Sedgeford Hall Estate, Norfolk, aiming to promote health, community engagement, and an inclusive activity – for all age groups and abilities – through the UK's fastest growing racket sport. It will additionally leverage the Estate's visibility as a safe, health and wellbeing destination for locals and visitors to north-west Norfolk.
The application seeks permission for the erection of a building to provide a padel tennis facility with two indoor courts, changing facilities and sitting area; plus construction of a parking area on land at Sedgeford Hall Estate, Fring Road, Sedgeford, Norfolk PE36 5LT.
The project will bring together a wide range of participants — from ages 4 to 65+ — including fitness-focused individuals, racquet sport enthusiasts, families, schools, inclusive disability groups, and holidaymakers.
The 700m² venue will feature two indoor padel courts, changing facilities, all housed within a new-build structure designed to complement the surrounding landscape. A dedicated car park will also be provided.
Padel+ Sedgeford Hall Estate aims to be open daily to the public from 7am to 10pm, regularly offering adult and junior group coaching to the local community, and social doubles tournaments for all skill levels.
